The Achacha, a fruit native to the Amazon Basin of Bolivia, is now being grown in North Queensland. I've not seen or heard about it until yesterday when the lady behind the promo cart offered us some.
How does it taste? Very much like the tropical mangosteen which I love!
You can learn all about the Achacha and the various ways to eat it on the grower's site. It's a very interesting and informative read!

at first i thought you were crazy and giving mangosteen another name!
achacha is a seriously catchy name though.
Haha! I'm not crazy!
Mangosteens have a purple outside and have many seeds! xx
I haven't tried these or mangosteens, but have seen them in harris farm too. Will have to give them a try!
Mangosteens are so expensive here compared to Asia! The Achachas are not cheap either but they're definitely worth a try. If you go to the website, they teach you how to make a drink from the skin! xx
Hey thanks for talking about us! We are glad you enjoyed your first Honey Kiss!

You're welcome. Just sharing the delicious things in life with others.
I didn't know they are called Honey Kisses. What a cute name! Another reason to eat more. x
