The Hope Street Markets has a new home this season. From the cosy Table for 20, a small two-level restaurant and bar, to...The bigger venue meant that more designers could participate and thus more eye candy for the shoppers and hopefully, more funds raised for the Hope Street charity. Some old favourites and familiar faces were back with new designs but there were also lots of crunchy fresh goods to be had.
Things that caught my magpie eyes today:
Rocking Horse brooch by Made By White
Deer "Taxidermy" brooch by Clare de Lune
Vintage-fabric-on-ply jewellery by The Strutt Sisters
Rebound Book notebooks by Natalie Crupi & Ben Mason
Wool drapes by As Horas De MadrugadaIt's a shame we had to leave in less than 30 minutes, empty-handed, for I was nursing the mother of all hangovers - having to work my way to the front of the more interesting stalls, through the crowd, did my already sore and fuzzy head in. Good thing most of the designers I liked have online stores. Viva, the Internet!

V. pwetty. You have a great eye for the good stuff... when I am really rich you can definitely be my personal shopper.
Please get really rich soon! x
Its so much better in a larger space isnt it..but took longer to find parking than the time inside, I think public transport next time around!
Hello David,
Haha. We walked but doesn't the lack of parking spaces in Sydney drive you crazy? Did you try the little residential streets off the main drag?
I have not decided if I liked the larger space. I know it's great for the designers cos more of them get to show but I kind of miss the intimate cosiness at Table for 20.
